The Culinary Art by Black85 The Culinary Art by Black85
I've been working bit by bit on this illustration! I'm at the color stage now! I've had crazy ideas like that in the past months for illustrations and films! I don't know from where the flow comes, but when I get back to drawing more I feel I'll pop off a few steps in the progression stairs! It is done in the mood of my new waiter work at the Terrasse Lafayette on Villeneuve! By the way I quit the job soon cause working at night kills me... It is also in the current trend coming with Ratatouille number 1 comedy and animation... I knew they would pop up the cherry soon with mixture of different styles... For example, the graphical interpretation of the flavors... Didn't it make you think of scratch film???

this is exquisitely done, sir! your hatching textures are very enviable but i especially like how your ink splots feel different from the rest of the piece, yet fit right in with rest of it. well done, swank concept!
